Hi, I'm Dr. Alex Kuehl
Pronouns: he/him/his
I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare.
I found my purpose in helping people feel better when they feel hurt and hopeless.
After shadowing a pharmacist, a dentist, a physician, and a physical therapist, I chose to become a chiropractor. I was amazed by the patients' stories of how their chiropractor restored their health using nothing but well-trained, hands-on treatment.
In chiropractic college, I learned how to diagnose different conditions and feel for specific problems. But I quickly became dissatisfied with the traditional approach. Typical chiropractic adjustments weren’t providing effective or lasting results for my patients or my own body.
I found a different approach that made more sense to me. More importantly, it produced lasting results for my patients and for my own stubborn shoulder problem. I’ve spent years learning this specialized approach by training with other doctors across the U.S. at continuing education seminars.

Throughout my chiropractic education, I tutored my fellow students and discovered a love of teaching. After graduating, I completed a postdoctoral teaching residency in the anatomy lab. Here, I developed an even deeper passion for human anatomy and all of its intricacies.
I have 5 years of experience teaching anatomy to doctoral students and currently teach anatomy, kinesiology, pathophysiology and research part-time at Roberts Wesleyan University.
Professionally, I consider myself to be a problem-solver, an educator, and a compassionate coach. If you choose to work with me, I’d be honored to be a part of your journey to become your healthiest self.
Personally, I’m originally from Ontario, Canada, and I currently live in Gates-Chili. In my free time, I enjoy staying active outside in all seasons: hiking, biking, rollerblading, snowshoeing, skiing, especially with my wife and dog.
