About No Crack Chiropractic
No Crack Chiropractic uses a specialized hands-on treatment to:
-
improve your range of motion
-
decompress your joints
-
relieve your pain
No cracking. No adjustments. No manipulation.
Just results that last.
How does it work?
Muscles stabilize and move your joints. But your muscles can become unhealthy. With time and overuse, fibrous adhesion (also known as scar tissue) builds up in the muscles and ligaments around your joints.
When muscles are unhealthy, they’re weaker and less flexible. This limits your range of motion, compresses your joints, and causes you to feel pain or tension.
We find the source of your problem through a combination of:
-
The description of what you feel, and what movements make it feel better or worse
-
Range of motion measurements in the body part that hurts
-
Range of motion measurements in neighboring body parts
-
What you and I feel as I assess your muscles and ligaments
-
My knowledge of anatomy and clinical experience
Then I break up the scar tissue using focused, hands-on treatment of specific muscles. This increases your range of motion and decreases your pain.
I also teach you specific exercises to keep your muscles healthy and prevent the problems from returning.
Why don't you crack?
With a typical chiropractic adjustment, many of my patients experienced only hours of relief. And they would return with the exact same problem the next week.
I was as frustrated as my patients were.
I tried different adjusting techniques. But the focus was on getting the joints to “crack”—not on helping the patient feel better and stay better.
When I began to focus on treating the muscles around the joints, patients no longer needed the adjustments. Patients were getting better with fewer visits. And their problem wasn’t coming back for months or years.
Once you experience No Crack Chiropractic, you’ll see it’s different from traditional chiropractic, physical therapy, or massage therapy.
Is this for me?
No Crack Chiropractic is for you if:
-
You experience frequent or constant pain that’s greater than a 3/10
-
Your symptoms get worse with particular movements or activities
-
You have already tried chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, injections, or surgery
Because muscle adhesions develop with time, injury and overuse, this approach is safe and effective for anyone 12 years and older:
-
Young athletes can heal from injuries caused by muscle imbalances or limited ranges of motion.
-
Adults can regain range of motion they've lost over the years and get relief from stubborn pain or tension.
-
People with joint degeneration or arthritis can get relief. This treatment is also safe if you have osteoporosis because it uses less force than traditional chiropractic adjustments.
